At the end of 2014 the Lord revealed that 2015 was the year of transition and acceleration. There was to be a shaking of those things that did not align with God’s will (people, thoughts, places, etc.) and an acceleration of the blessings of God. Both contingent on our willingness to yield to God and our expectancy of multiplied grace (based on E.W. Bullinger’s spiritual meaning of the numbers 20 and 15 in his book titled Numbers in Scripture).
As I sought the Lord for what would be prevalent for 2016, I heard that 2016 is the year of elevation. He reminded me that he had given me this word in the summer of 2015. I was to share it in September at the “It’s Time To Soar” Advance that was scheduled for September 3-5, a week prior to the start of the Jewish New Year. As believers, we were step into the new year in September. However, my keynote speaker and dear friend lost her husband unexpectedly the end of July and neither one of us were able to pull it together to minister in September. Nevertheless, we serve a God that is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ask or think. I reached back to the word He gave for 2015 and began to pull on the promise of multiplied grace. He began to strengthen me and encourage me to forge onward with the vision He has given me for Come Up Higher Ministries.
So again I looked at the meanings of the numbers 20 and 16 in the book Numbers in Scripture. The number 16 was not listed at all, so I looked at the number 8 since 16 is double the number 8. Here is the meaning of number 8:
“In Hebrew the number eight is hnm# (Sh'moneh), from the root Nm# (Shah'meyn), "to make fat," "cover with fat," "to super-abound." As a participle it means "one who abounds in strength," etc. As a noun it is "superabundant fertility," "oil," etc. So that as a numeral it is the superabundant number. As seven was so called because the seventh day was the day of completion and rest, so eight, as the eighth day, was over and above this perfect completion, and was indeed the first of a new series, as well as being the eighth. Thus it already represents two numbers in one, the first and eighth.”
So if we look at 2016 in light of the spiritual meanings of the numbers 20 and 16, we see the expectancy to super abound, to be made fat, and to abound in strength. To abound is to go from one level to the next, to elevate. Be encouraged knowing that this is your year of elevation. This is your year to go from glory to glory. As you embrace the spirit of excellence, get rid of all the excuses, maintain an expectancy of multiplied grace, have the mindset that success is not an accident, and expect to receive the miraculous, you will begin to see the manifestation of elevation in your life. Happy New Year and together let’s go higher in Him in 2016!
